Role: Job Captain, Construction AdministrationFirm: OLC ArchitectureProject Location: Rock Springs,, WYProject Size: 12,000 sq. ft.Project Cost: $7 million Project Completed: 2010Client: City of Rock Springs Parks & Recreation DepartmentDescription: Phase 1: A community splash pad with a large water geyser that overflows into a shallow river lined with several spray features. Also part of phase 1 is the indoor aquatic expansion with leisure pool, dual water slides with a splash zone, large current channel, and play structure, as well as the addition of party rooms and family changing area. A unique sunken patio will complete the aquatic addition by connecting to the phase two outdoor pool addition.Phase 2: Adjacent to the expansion will be an outdoor pool and pool house which features a leisure pool with another zero-depth entry and a play structure, spray arches and geysers, and a 4-lane, 25-yard lap pool, new pool house locker rooms, concessions and several picnic pavilions.

The competition included complete redesigns of exterior facades of each building on the square. Owners would receive matching grants if they chose to renovate their building facades. The fitness club covers approximately 20,000 square feet of a renovated historical building in downtown San Antonio. The spaces created here allow for minimal impact on the existing open spaces of the building. These layouts allow for a speedy workout for professionals on the go, as well as longer workouts for those wanting to spend time at the club. Phase two will allow each plan to go into further detail of each space of the gym as well as perspective details noting three dimensional characteristics of the space.

Memorable relationships will be formed with each customer through the integration of people and cross-cultural traditions, services and products. Dream Gardens believes in the promotion of health and beauty of body and soul conjointly with a harmonious relationship with nature. Nature will be explored with an understanding of cross-cultural traditions and lifestyles of both Western and Eastern origin. Gardens and landscapes will meld into every crevasse, filling the atmosphere with breathtaking views and peace of mind. This atmosphere will enrich the visual literacy of the community through art, performance, education and the environments within and beyond. The complex will be established to educate, entertain, enliven, and entice inquiry of our patrons perception of Eastern influence on the modernized Western world of art, architecture and environment. Role: Construction Administration & Main Support StaffFirm: OLC ArchitectureProject Location: Cheyenne, WYProject Size: 11,000 sfProject Cost: $2.1 millionProject Completed: 2009Client: City of Cheyenne, WYProject Description: This newly renovated community center features a multi-use sport court, climbing wall, a fitness area, game room, computer lab, social gathering space, snack area, community meeting / conference rooms, staff offices, restroom expansion and maintenance storage areas. These new amenities not only update an older facility but turn it into a recreation destination for the whole community to enjoy. During construction contaminated soils under an existing slab were found, which created a unique design dilemma. The creative, cost conscious solution was to build up a raised, aerated slab to air out any contaminates.
